Note to My Followers
For some reason I have no inspiration to blog here for the moment. I have tons of unorganized negatives and pictures on my computer, in all my drawers, on my external hard drive - but I can't just post anything serious here right now. Every time I post something it feels like it was posted together with the wrong pictures or posted too early or in the wrong context. My conclusion is that I have to let my images "sink" into my mind and find their right places before I post them here. They deserve to be put in the right context. I'm a very chaotic and impulsive person and it has never been easy. I know I'll never be able to organize my mind, but organizing my photos - I think I'm going to give it a try.

Inspiration does not come on demand, nor does it come as a steady stream, but, rather, it usually comes in bouts: That is perfectly normal and not at all the outcome of a "chaotic" or "impulsive" nature. Well, perhaps creativity itself is a chaotic and impulsive thing! ;)
Moreover, moving to beautiful Belgium to live with your love was a huge change in your life, so it probably absorbed all your mental, imaginative and emotional faculties, for a time....
You are also in the process of officially "going pro" with your photography, which probably requires a deeper reflexion upon the direction you want your work to take: I can definitely see that you are transitioning from subjects, forms and techniques typical of many young amateurs to new and higher ambitions, with some pictures in the former category, and others belonging to the latter.
I stumbled upon your blog by clicking a link on Sigrid's blog many years ago, and your talent was imediatley evident to me. I have been interested in your artistic development ever since, and I was very happy to read that you switched from piles of semi-sterile theory to the creative "real thing" at a proper art academy. So, I would not dream of deserting your blog now that you are going through such an important transitional phase! The honour is all mine: Thank you for sharing your beautiful images and adding a little magic to my life. :)

PS Some additional thoughts:
1) What's with exposure, lately? :) It has been a little crazy and uneven, during the last months: have you been experimenting with it or..?
2) Maybe you could find a red thread by choosing some sort of theme to create a coherent series of images. Something like that. but maybe you fear your work would lose spontaneity and freshness, that way.

There seem to be view blogs and blogger who take the time they need. I also like that you work with traditional photography.
